This course introduces students to key issues in second language learning and teaching. It also helps students to develop their research skills.

Students will become familiar with key issues in second language learning and teaching through engagement with relevant literature/media, class discussions and course assignments. They will also learn how to conduct educational research.

Grading:
Active participation in class (30%)
Moodle tasks/other homework (20%)
One graded presentation each semester (25% each)
